... Like the depressing weather

So, it's mid July, and outside looks like mid October... The infamous "Vancouver Rain" has rolled in and decided to stay. Now, my statement is only partially sarcastic, I will miss the Vancouver weather. I'm not a particular fan of the heat (I know, why am I moving to Australia?), but I do enjoy nice cool Vancouver days. It is during these days, that I like to layer my clothes (...shorts and a t-shirt... maybe a hoodie) and go for little walks around the city. I tend to perspire easily, even without the heat, so I guess I'm left to say, "Good-bye 16 degree weather... and hello 40 plus... i don't like you...".

I suppose there will be many things that I will miss, such as the Richmond Night Market, Japadogs, Wreck Beach, English Bay, Kits Beach, Stanley Park, Metrotown, Vancouver Island, the pebbles we call sand at the beach, the Festival of Lights, the forests, the wildlife, the crazy homeless people (actually I could care less about them...), the guy that works at Subway near my work that gives me free cookies, my friends and family, my car, Starbucks on every corner, the ridiculous amounts of sushi places you can find, the clean fresh air, being able to flush the toilet numerous amounts of time, taking 15 minute hot showers, sneaking onto film sets and stealing food from krafty, using my Scene card at the theatres to save up for free movies, calling it a "theatre" and now having to convert that to "cinema", Christmas during winter, my birthday being in spring, all of the cherry blossoms in Vancouver, my video game collection, the $2 coin being larger than the $1 coin, calling them toonies and loonies... wow the list can really go on!

Downtown Vancouver
Now that I only have 2 weeks left in Vancouver, I'm going to be coming up with a Bucket list of things to do before I move. Feel free to leave a comment on some things that I simply HAVE to do before leaving such a beautiful city... Yeah, Vancouver is pretty good looking!
